Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and reliable Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing team. You will lead install projects, handle difficult repairs, and guide technicians. Your goal is to ensure top-quality work, safe operations, and happy customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and fix complex residential or commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Field: Support technicians and apprentices in the field.
- Customer Service: Talk with clients to explain technical issues, offer clear repair or replacement options, and build trust.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure all work follows local building codes and safety regulations.
- Admin Duties: Complete daily paperwork and report parts used to the office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- AL Universal EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerant handling.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC field experience.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Skills and Physical Demands
- Advanced tool use and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs and work in cramped spaces or heights.
- Strong communication and basic computer skills for mobile dispatch tools.
