Job Summary
The EH&S Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Environmental, Health & Safety team for a large manufacturing company . This role ensures accurate documentation, smooth execution of EH&S programs, and timely communication with employees, subject matter experts, and leadership. The position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual interested in building a foundation in the EH&S field.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Administration
- Schedule and coordinate training classes both in person and web based
- Assign training requirements to employees based on role and compliance needs
- Enter completed training rosters into the system to ensure accurate employee credit
- Run, review, and distribute training compliance reports
Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Program Support
- Coordinate and Issue PIV permits to authorized operators after successful training
- Maintain accurate PIV permit documentation
EH&S SharePoint Management
- Maintain and update the EH&S SharePoint site and perform administrative updates
- Ensure documentation, links, and resources are current and accessible
Procedural Updates and Documentation Control
- Communicate procedure revision requirements to subject matter experts
- Format procedures following organizational standards
- Upload finalized procedures to the SharePoint repository and ensure proper version control
Administrative and Meeting Support
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for various EH&S-related meetings
- Support EH&S Council presentations, including content organization and formatting
Management of Change (MOC) Support
- Communicate MOC action items to responsible owners
- Monitor and track completion status as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Ability to multitask, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines
- Interest in EH&S compliance and program management
Preferred Skills:
- Coursework in environmental studies or sciences
- Basic understanding of EH&S principles
*Preferred candidate 1099 position
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
