Structural Welder
C&C Machine is an industrial machine and fabrication shop providing a range of services for the marine, construction, and oil industry located in Harvey Louisiana.
We are currently looking for a self motivated working lead fabricator that has structural welding and fitting knowledge. This person would be responsible for the productivity and quality of 3-6 other welders/fabricators and the overall efficiency of the welding shop. The job location is indoors in a new 50,000 sq/ft facility in Harvey LA. Each employee has their own workspace with all needed equipment. Applicants must have reliable transportation, the ability to work on their own, a willingness to work on a team, a positive attitude, and a valid driver’s license.
Job requirements:
- Must be proficient in FCAW and GMAW welding processes.
- Must have leadership abilities and be able to manage your and others time efficiently.
- Must have 5 years of previous welding experience.
- Must be able to cut, fit, tack, and weld structural items.
Working hours range from 40 – 55 hours per week. Pay to be based on experience and knowledge. Full benefits offered to all employees.
