Job Description: Technology Sales Account Executive – Network Services
Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer‑focused Technology Sales Account Executive to join our Network Services Division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, expanding relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth across our portfolio of network, connectivity, and managed service solutions. You will work closely with technical teams, leadership, and customers to deliver solutions that meet evolving network needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for network services, including connectivity, WAN/LAN solutions, managed network services, cybersecurity offerings, and cloud networking.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; consistently achieve sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Execute strategic account plans to expand revenue within assigned accounts.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including IT leaders, network engineers, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, and business objectives.
- Present solutions with clear articulation of business value, ROI, and technical alignment.
Collaboration & Solution Development
- Partner with engineering, network architects, and service delivery teams to scope and propose tailored solutions.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and promote service offerings.
- Provide customer feedback to help influence future service enhancements and product direction.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline activity, forecasting, and account documentation.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and customer presentations aligned with company standards.
- Participate in sales reviews, strategy sessions, and ongoing training programs.
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of experience in technology sales, preferably in network services, IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, or telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., SD‑WAN, MPLS, VPN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, routers, switches, cloud connectivity).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Experience selling into mid‑market or enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with managed services, cybersecurity, or cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of industry vendors (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Meraki).
