Our current opening is for a HVAC Controls Construction Field Engineer/Technician in our Springfield office. Technician will be responsible for providing customers with the highest quality installations possible in an efficient and timely manner while assuring customer satisfaction.
- Works with Controls Engineer and Project Manager to install and commission HVAC Controls Systems on assigned project.
- Responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC Controls Systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure quality completion of project and service work.
- Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to install, program, and diagnose systems.
- Identifies, analyzes, and diagnoses systems and products at customer's location.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Provides updates to Project Managers.
- Provides technical support to customers.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical and controls equipment
- Troubleshooting experience and functional knowledge of test equipment to include multimeter
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check.
