Duties
- Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure a high-performing team.
- Oversee daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stocking, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional displays to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular employee orientation sessions, coaching, and development programs to foster a motivated workforce.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports on sales management, budgeting, and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and store operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment with responsibilities in recruiting, training & development.
- Strong background in retail math including cashiering, cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and operational management tools.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, stock management, and retail sales is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with managerial communication abilities to lead teams efficiently.
