Estimator / Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our construction team. This role combines the responsibilities of accurately estimating project costs and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and extensive experience in construction management. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and project management techniques to ensure successful project delivery.

Duties

• Prepare detailed construction estimates using Construct Connect's OnScreen Takeoff and Quickbid only. BuzzBid may be considered.
• Develop accurate project budgets, including cost control measures and pricing strategies.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work.
• Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with construction site teams to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee contract administration, including review and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project timelines, resource allocations, and risk management plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects, including change orders and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in OnScreen Takeoff and Quickbid, and other relevant estimating or project management software.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site safety protocols, and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Construction site experience is highly desirable for understanding on-the-ground challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
