Overview
C&C Disposal is a locally owned waste management and recycling company in Pueblo, Co. We have been in business for 22 years and are looking to add new members to our team. Our services to the greater Pueblo area include residential and commercial pickup, recycling pickup, roll-off, temporary cleanup cans, port-o-lets, transfer station and recycle drop off.
- All weather position- ability to work in all types of weather.
(hot, cold, rain, snow)
- Tailgating Schedule M-T 4:45 am - route finish
- Yard Laborer Schedule M-F
Work schedules may vary depending on the assigned task, position, or operational needs for the day or week. Employees are expected to follow the schedule provided by their supervisor and remain flexible as assignments change.
This position includes tailgating and yard labor work depending on operational needs.
Duties
- Maintaining and cleaning up yard, e.g. pick up trash, pull weeds, sweep shop, etc.
- Organizing equipment
- Washing port-o-lets & Totes
- Directing Traffic
- Assisting with various other projects as needed
- Pulling, pushing, and dumping totes/trashbags
- Ensure proper disposal of collected waste in accordance with local regulations
- Maintain, clean, and organize the work environment, inlcuding vehicles and tools.
Skills
- Dependability
- Ability to perform physically demanding task and work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
