We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as hand trucks when necessary.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, adjusting as needed based on traffic or weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Skills
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
