C&C Boiler Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to support our Code Services program. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with ASME and National Board requirements, supporting code-related projects, and ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and coordination across internal teams and third-party inspectors.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our code program and supporting field operations through strong documentation, communication, and process management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Code Program Compliance Calendar, ensuring all required activities, deadlines, and certifications are tracked and completed.
- Maintain National Board Repair Logs and ensure timely and accurate entry of all repair and alteration jobs.
- Organize, scan, and file code packages and repair documentation in internal systems and customer portals.
- Track and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure issues are documented and resolved appropriately.
- Maintain and update welder logs, material logs, and test equipment records.
- Coordinate calibration of test equipment, including tracking, shipping, and documentation of certifications.
- Work with third-party vendors and inspectors, including:
- Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA)
- Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) subcontractors
- Assist in ensuring all NDE procedures, qualifications, and documentation are current and compliant.
- Support material control processes, including:
- Creating material requisitions
- Reviewing purchase orders
- Performing material receipt inspections and traceability verification
- Coordinate with field teams and inspectors to ensure code requirements, inspections, and testing are properly communicated and executed.
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of Code Packages, including all supporting documentation.
- Support the Quality Control Manager (QCM) with calculations, documentation reviews, and continuous improvement of code processes.
- Salary Range: $75,000 DOE
- 401(k) Plan with 100% vested, 4% Safe Harbor Match: First 3% of deferral matched 100% and the second 2% of deferral is matched at 50% for a total available match of 4%

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, including field personnel and third-party inspectors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or service management systems is a plus.
- Experience in industrial services, boilers, pressure vessels, or code environments is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
