Busy family practice clinic in Granbury, Texas is seeking a trained medical assistant. Work Monday through Friday with Friday afternoons off. Paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) plan, etc. Must have a diploma/certificate of completion from a medical assistant training program. Must have hands-on patient training/experience. Candidates must be able to take accurate vital signs, have been trained to give medication injections, etc.
Job Overview
Here is an example of some of the job duties:
- Administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Take and record accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Manage and properly document medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering messages, maintaining patient records, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care.
