Parts Specialist

C & B Operations currently has an opening for a John Deere Parts Specialist at its dealership located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Our Parts Specialist is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive, enthusiastic disposition to meet or exceed the on-going needs of our customers. Prior sales experience and John Deere equipment knowledge is a plus. Fast paced environment, with outside sales development potential for the right individual. Will be expected to be a part of the on call rotation as needed during seasonal hours. Essential Duties:Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needsSupplies Service Technicians with parts as requiredAssists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displaysVerifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locationsAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyFollows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the managerAssists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working orderQualifications:Valid driver's license and a safe driving recordAbility to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pullingAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to operate a fork lift preferredBasic parts and machinery knowledgeBasic data entry/keyboarding skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredBenefits:Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.
