What you’ll be doing:
This is an in-office position, reporting to work M-F, 7:15am-3:45pm traveling to-and-from appointments (1-3 new jobs per week). Daily responsibilities include:
- Scoping and closing renovation projects while managing to target gross profit margins.
- Meeting with 1-3 new customers weekly and building strong rapport that converts into signed projects.
- Proactively following up with potential customers to advance deals
- Reviewing and negotiating proposals when insurance scopes don’t align with actual needs.
- Leading pre-production meetings to ensure smooth handoff and customer satisfaction.
- Managing job files, records, and correspondence with accuracy and urgency.
- Delivering a professional, responsive experience from the first meeting through project kickoff
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal experience & qualities to be successful in this role:
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check (no violent offenses or criminal convictions that prevent the candidate from working around children), as Account Executives are frequently in customer homes and businesses (including schools).
- Have a driver’s license and a clear driving record. Account Executives will have access to a company vehicle to drive to and from customer locations.
- Able to safely lift 30 pounds and work in crawlspaces .
- Strong communicator who earns trust and moves customers confidently through the decision-making process.
- Sales-minded and motivated to exceed goals, while also detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Personable – Account Executives are in the home, meeting with residents, and therefore must have a personality that puts customers at ease and gains both their trust and confidence.
- A blend of professional, personal, and efficient completing bids quickly and accurately but also have a presence that puts customers at ease.
- Tech savvy – Familiar with Gmail, Microsoft Suite, managing calendars, attaching and uploading documents & digital images.
- While knowledge of construction or renovations is preferred, it is not required for the right person who is driven and motivated to learn.
About the pay and benefits:
- $52k base biweekly commissions (on target earnings of $100k per year)
- Initial training is $28.00 per hour.
- Company vehicle available for commute after achieving performance milestone.
