Starlink Installation Technician
Location: Onsite
Employment Type: 1099 Contract, Full time or part time
Pay Range: $100 – $1,000 per week (based on workload and project volume)
About the Role
We’re looking for motivated, hands-on technicians to join our team installing Starlink satellite internet systems. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting with customers, and tackling practical challenges in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and mount Starlink satellite dishes according to specifications
- Run and secure cabling from dish to customer equipment
- Safely climb ladders and work with hand tools to complete installations
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
- Work independently and manage installations with minimal supervision
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Self-sufficient and reliable with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to climb ladders and perform physical installation tasks
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
- Knowledge of installation requirements for Starlink systems (mounting and cabling)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport tools and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with satellite, telecom, or similar installations (not required but a plus)
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar field service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in working with computer hardware, networking, and low voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical documents.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and maintenance best practices.
