Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day supply chain operations, including production planning, inventory management, purchasing, and shipment coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage order placement and create/release purchase orders based on inventory plans and customer demand
- Develop and maintain production schedules and inventory plans; proactively identify shortages and implement recovery actions
- Coordinate with vendors and China partners on negotiations, production updates, and issue resolution
- Coordinate international shipments and manage container activities, verifying product details, backorders and delivery timelines to ensure accurate fulfillment
- Maintain accurate data within SAGE and Netstock systems
- Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making in a timely manner
- Track compliance documentation
- Lead and assist with sourcing projects including product research, quote collection, and vendor analysis
- Contribute to SOP and process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
- Serve as a key contact for internal teams regarding supply chain inquiries
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing or inventory planning roles
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, Netstock, or similar) and strong Excel proficiency (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic data analysis)
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify and solve problems
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to manage priorities in high volume
- Experience with PO management, order tracking, and supplier coordination
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making independent decisions
- Strong analytical skills, being able to identify trends and apply insights
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work across language barriers
- Flexible and adaptable; willing to support evolving business needs
