Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant

Full-Time | $20–$25 per hour

C.A.R.S. is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant to join our collision repair team in Glenwood Springs.

This is an important front-office position and is often the first point of contact for our customers. We are looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Previous collision repair experience is a plus, but it is not required. We provide paid training for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and schedule appointments
• Assist with vehicle check-in, including inspecting and photographing vehicles
• Track vehicles through the repair process and maintain accurate customer files
• Communicate with customers and provide repair-status updates
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and repairs
• Collect customer and insurance payments
• Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and maintaining records
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and verifying parts and supplies
• Assist estimators with preparing estimates and supplements
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized reception and office area
• Assist with shuttling customers and vehicles when needed
• Work closely with estimators, technicians, management, and other team members

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain productivity
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, printers, scanners, and other office equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Collision repair, automotive, insurance claims, or estimating experience is a plus, but not required
