Body Shop Manager / Collision Center Manager

$95,000 – $135,000 per year performance bonus relocation assistance
A well-established 22-year collision repair and auto body operation is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager / Collision Center Manager to lead production, staff, and operational performance at our Grand Junction, Colorado location serving the rapidly growing Mesa County market. This leadership role offers full responsibility for production, estimating oversight, insurance relations, client relations, and shop profitability in a collision repair facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all collision repair center operations, production flow, and scheduling
- Lead, hire, train, and develop body technicians, estimators, and shop staff
- Oversee collision estimates, DRP relationships, and work file management
- Monitor cycle time, technician productivity, CSI, and quality control
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and fleet accounts
- Control department budgeting, expenses, and profitability
- Ensure OSHA, safety, and environmental compliance
- Manage parts ordering, equipment performance, and facility efficiency
- Address customer concerns and ensure exceptional service delivery
Qualifications
- Prior Body Shop Manager, Collision Center Manager, or Production Manager experience required
- Strong collision estimating background (CCC ONE or similar estimating systems preferred)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume auto body repair operations
- Leadership experience supervising technicians and estimators
- Strong understanding of insurance repair processes, wholesale, and cycle time management
- Excellent communication, organization, and operational leadership skills
