Our ideal candidate will specialize in Topographics, Construction Layout, Boundaries, Legal Descriptions and Deed Plotting, Tree Locations, Utility Locations, Site Development, Wetland Delineation, and ALTA/ACSM Surveys.
Skills
Ability to verify the installation of underground utilities as well as accuracy of graded areas
Ability to provide benchmarks for installation of pipe and associated structures, pouring of concrete, site grading, imbeds, and anchor bolts
Ability to use Trimble Siteworks
Ability to create as-built plans
Ability to perform a layout as needed by crew
Familiar with operation of a robotic total station and Carlson SurvCE
Ability to use a site level (auto level)
Ability to keep accurate notes in a field book
Ability to perform calculations as necessary for elevations as well as horizontal locations
Ability to communicate well, both written and orally
Ability to translate survey lingo into lay terms
Ability to remain on your feet walking on differing terrain for 8 hours/day. Ability to carry equipment.
Able to work alone; self-driven
Ability to calculate slope
Ability to provide final as-built data
Ability to maintain equipment in accurate and working condition
Ability to use Carlson Desktop software and Trimble Business center and Civil3D (Preferred)
