Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Coding/Robotic/After School Instructor to join our educational team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering children’s interest in technology, robotics, and coding while supporting their overall development.

Duties
- Lead engaging coding, robotics, and STEM activities tailored to various age groups during after-school programs and camps
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate hands-on projects to promote creativity and problem-solving skills
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations
- Maintain a structured schedule to ensure timely transitions between activities and adherence to program timelines
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Assist with setting up equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining safety standards during activities
- Incorporate elements of Christian counseling or values-based education if applicable, fostering character development alongside technical skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to teach coding, robotics, or related STEM subjects effectively to young learners
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
- Experience with special education or behavioral support is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with diverse student populations
- Enthusiasm for fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence in children through innovative teaching methods
