About the Role
We are seeking a driven, detail-obsessed technician to join our team in a key capacity. This is not a traditional shop floor/auto collision repair role. You will primarily operate at a dedicated local specialty site, focusing on high-precision surface prep, masking, and refinishing.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way every time—following exact specifications and established protocols without cutting corners.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise surface preparation, sanding, masking, and blocking according to strict technical guidelines.
- Follow established step-by-step procedures and quality standards to ensure flawless surface preparation on specialized equipment/structures.
- Assist with paint application setup and detailed finishing work.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant off-site work environments.
- Take ownership of daily tasks with high autonomy while strictly adhering to management direction and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What We Are Looking For
- Procedure-Driven Mindset: Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures without deviation.
- Strong Work Ethic & Integrity: High level of trust and accountability, especially when working on location.
- Experience & Aptitude: Prior prep, auto refinishing, industrial painting, or specialized coating experience is preferred, but strong mechanical aptitude and a dedication to quality are paramount.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for subtle surface imperfections and masking precision.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexibility for early/varied start times depending on project schedules.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift as required in a active refinishing environment.
