Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Digital POS.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, while effectively upselling to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred, with Irish pub experience being a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial for understanding menu items better.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining sanitation standards.
