Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of your clients while promoting their independence. This position is eligible for a weekly fuel credit depending on the drive time.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or as a caregiver is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic nursing tasks, including monitoring vital signs.
- Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
