Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician position will be focused on maintaining and implementing the essential technology and equipment used by our production team.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
- Responsible for the building equipment functionality of air handlers, gutters, electrical panels, lighting, exterior maintenance and lighting
- Coordinate and execute offsite move requests
- Ensure the production tables, box carts and bander stands are functional for the production floor
- Preventative maintenance for all buildings
- General facility repair, electrical wiring and maintenance for all buildings
- Maintenance and repair of machines, machine parts, and equipment
- Grounds work, such as mowing, plowing, snow blowing, salting
- Assists with special projects such as event setup, moves/adds, and changes to the production floor
- Completes day to day work with a balance between short-term productivity gains and long-term continuous improvements
- Maintains effective working relationships with supervisory and non-supervisory employees in production, management, quality, maintenance and other functional areas
Skills/Education Requirements:
- Demonstrable tendency to having a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working with minimal direction, alerts leaders when assistance is needed
- Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical manufacturing technology and equipment is preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Industrial Maintenance, electronics degree, electrical license or similar program/degree is preferred
