Byram Labs, located in Pittsburgh, PA and Branchburg NJ, is a 114-year-old company and growing. We are a distributor, manufacturer, and modification center with an ISO certified calibration facility for high quality industrial instrumentation. Byram serves many segments across North America and provides installation services with all our water and pulse products.
Byram has been serving the power generation, power transmission and process control industries since 1910. We are a distributor, manufacturer, and modification center with an ISO certified calibration facility for high quality industrial instrumentation. Byram carries and can calibrate a collection of top-notch electrical testing and measuring equipment manufacturers including Fluke, Megger and Simpson. We also carry our own Byram line of electrical testing equipment.
We are seeking a technician that will report into our production manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete requirements for assigned Job Orders
· Program, scale and/or modify meters to customer specifications
· Identify resources –manuals, parts and schematics
· Understand shop organization of lab manuals and inventory
· Identify resource manuals, parts, and schematics
· Perform all tasks as assigned by Management
· Pack and ship customer orders
· Receive incoming items and deliver to appropriate departments
· All tasks must follow quality guidelines and comply with the Quality Management System of Byram Laboratories, Inc.
Minimum Requirements:
· Understanding proper hand tool usage
· Understanding of Shop safety procedures and usage
· Understanding of Basic Math and Science
· Electrical or electronic training
· Soldering and assembly
· Good verbal communication skills
· Computer skills

Pay: $18.15 - $24.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
