Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for conducting visual inspections, checking fluid levels, and identifying obvious equipment issues or damage.
- Strong focus on safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment tie-down procedures, and adherence to yard safety protocols.
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean, orderly yard; ability to follow checklists, track equipment locations, and support inventory accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with counter staff, drivers, and service technicians, and to interact courteously with customers.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move equipment or materials as needed throughout the workday and in varying weather conditions.
