Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient processing, packing, and shipping of products. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation. The Fulfillment Associate will work closely with warehouse management to maintain safety standards and optimize workflow, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and forklifts
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and clamp trucks following OSHA safety guidelines
- Manage materials handling tasks including loading, unloading, and moving inventory within the warehouse
- Ensure proper storage and organization of products to facilitate efficient order fulfillment
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, verifying shipments against purchase orders
- Thoroughly inspecting products as they are picked to ensure there are no cosmetic defects
- Product Kitting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Support warehouse supervision in daily operations and process improvements
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, handling materials up to specified weight limits
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is highly preferred
- Experience with order picking using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Use and understanding of technology (computers and tablets)
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks
- Background in materials handling, shipping & receiving, or construction environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50lbs
- Strong reading and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate clear and concise information
