Job Description:
As an Insurance Agent, you will be a main point of contact for both prospective and existing clients. In addition to handling inquiries, policy renewals, and claims processing, you will identify clients' needs and present suitable insurance products. This role requires a combination of excellent customer service skills and a passion for sales to help clients make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, offering friendly, knowledgeable support.
· Assist clients with understanding policy details, coverage options, and payment plans.
· Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and claims quickly and accurately.
· Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, recommending additional coverage or policies to meet clients' evolving needs.
· Proactively reach out to new and existing clients to present relevant insurance products and generate sales leads.
· Stay informed about company products, including auto, home, and life insurance to make personalized recommendations.
· Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and policy updates.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
· Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
· 1 year of Prior sales experience
· Insurance license (or willingness to obtain it within a set timeframe).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM software.
