Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately install piping systems.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Ensure all piping work complies with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and respiratory protection protocols.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of pipes and related materials safely and efficiently.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures as needed to access work areas safely.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inspections of installed piping systems for leaks or defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fittings, valves, and related components.
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards.
- Proficiency in manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures to ensure safe operations on-site.
- Experience with climbing ladders or scaffolding safely in various work environments.
- Knowledge of respiratory protection requirements for working in confined or hazardous spaces.
- Skilled in using power tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, drills, and saws.

$125 a day Per Diem!
Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
