Description:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Load and unload automotive parts and accessories onto delivery vehicles, ensuring items are securely packed and organized for transport.· Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure the safe and timely delivery of parts to customers and other departments.· Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers, service technicians, and other departments in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of items.· Verify the accuracy of parts orders and delivery documents, including invoices, packing slips, and delivery receipts, to ensure all items are accounted for and delivered correctly.· Collect payments from customers for parts orders delivered, when applicable, and return payments and receipts to the dealership promptly.· Knowledge of taking payments when on and off dealership property.· Maintain delivery vehicles in clean and good working conditions, performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs as needed to ensure safe and reliable operation.· Communicate effectively with parts department staff, service technicians, and other departments to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns related to parts deliveries.· Provide exceptional customer service to customers, greeting them courteously upon delivery, answering any questions or inquiries they may have, and addressing any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.· Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption records, to track delivery activities and expenses.· Keep up to date with training (KPA, Wizer, Sales, etc.).· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in designated areas as per company policies and procedures.· Ensure compliance with Federal Trade Commission regulations.· All other duties as assigned.Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS · High school diploma or equivalent.· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.· Previous experience in delivery driving or related field is preferred.· Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is beneficial.· Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading delivery vehicles.· Excellent organizational and time management skills.· Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining delivery records and documentation.· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.· Basic mechanical skills for performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
