Summary

Assistant Account Manager will take on the management of key client projects. Assistant Account Manager responsibilities include delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation -- including managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications, federal and state regulations.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniq
• Report and escalate to management as
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and Maintain Relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1-2 years of proven working experience as a project engineer in a production environment
• Ability to execute multi-disciplinary projects requiring cross functional teams within the company.
• Decision making ability and leadership skills.
• Time management and organization skills
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• Experience in Heavy Duty and/or EV automotive industry
• Experience with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards in Heavy Duty and/or EV automotive industry
• Experience with design verification planning and reporting on components/systems.
• Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and countermeasure identification skills related to vehicle systems.
• Working knowledge of: FMEA, 8D problem solving, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA and Lean Principles
  
  

PAY RANGE: $70,000-85,000
