What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Fiber / Internet Installation Technicians – $2,000–$2,500 Weekly position at BYD FIBER SOLUTIONS LLC?
We are hiring Fiber / Internet Installation Technicians for our traveling teams.
Work available across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and other locations based on project availability.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 1099 independent contractor position
- Weekly payments based on completed work
- Potential earnings of $2,000–$3,000 per week, depending on production
- Consistent work opportunities

- Must be willing to travel between project locations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable SUV, van, or pickup truck with roof racks or ladder racks
- Fiber installation tools, including splicer, meter, drill, ladder, hand tools, and safety equipment
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Vehicle & Equipment:
A company vehicle and necessary equipment, including tools and a ladder, may be available for rent depending on availability and prior agreement.
Payment Schedule:
Payments are processed weekly. The first payment is issued at the end of the third full working week, excluding the current week. After that, payments continue weekly with the same payment delay.
Travel Team:
Technicians must be willing to travel and work in different markets as projects become available. Project locations and assignments will be coordinated in advance.
