What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Delivery Driver--- Lancaster CA Fully Onsite position at BYD COACH & BUS LLC?
Responsibilities
- Process all warranty claims on a timely manner, ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by vendors or customers.
- Track and record vehicle warranty start date
- Report abnormal quantity of failures for same issue to engineering team for continuous improvement purpose
- Communicates with vendors and service team to define the scope of warranty claim resolution and to set expectations.
- Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the corresponding departments to obtain payments.
- Ensure customers/dealership are paid for all warranty work in an accurate and timely fashion by preparing, flagging, submitting, and following up on each claim.
- Handle rejected claims according to dealership and/or manufacturers specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Arrange and coordinates with internal team and vendors/manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt of replacement parts.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Technical and electrical automotive or bus experience
- Self-starter with high level of initiative and strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team setting.
- Must be highly organized with attention to details.
- Must have problem-solving skills and ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Experience with automotive or bus parts (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.) and overall automotive vehicle knowledge.
- Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service and prospecting skills with ability to track task progress throughout and conflict resolving.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
