Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy their dining experience from start to finish. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS are highly desirable. A background in fine dining or hospitality settings is a plus, along with strong multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
• Respond to guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent guest relations and service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide accurate information to guests

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
• Experience in upselling, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
• Food industry knowledge including food handling, preparation, and guest relations
