- Innovative self-starter with strong hardware skills
- Analysis, design, documentation, hardware/software integration and testing of hardware components and assemblies
- Design of cables and interface panels in AutoCAD for direct manufacturing
- Coordinate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure designs meet training system requirements and subsystem integration needs
- Troubleshooting hardware failures
- Provide technical input, support design reviews, and subsystem acceptance activities
- Candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of flight simulators and develop/integrate hardware in areas such as avionics, cockpits, interfaces to audio, visual, Mixed Reality headsets, motion systems, I/O systems, and Instructor Operator Stations (IOS)
- BS Electrical Engineering
- AutoCAD LT
- Microsoft Word, Excel
- Hardware Engineering Concepts & Processes
- Commercial interfaces such as RS-232/422, Ethernet, Discrete I/O and Analog I/O
- AC and DC power
- Analog and Digital video interfaces
- Lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons
- Desire to learn about military aircraft systems and avionics
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
