Position Overview
Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resources Team. Primary responsibilities include new hire on-boarding and off-boarding, and ADP system maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the full spectrum of onboarding and offboarding.
- Perform various ADP administrative functions including ADP system onboarding, employee changes, separations, and reporting.
- Maintain employee records in the various training platforms.
- Daily maintain new hire, separation, and payroll trackers.
- Respond to requests for verifications of employment and unemployment claim responses
- Assist with special projects when assigned, such as but not limited to, process tuition assistance requests, assist with employee engagement activities, and back-up for receptionist.
- Provide quality care to all employees and vendors. Demonstrate a courteous, respectful, and helpful attitude in all interactions whether in person, via email, or telephone.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in a business office with Human Resources work experience or educational experience.
- Requires strong administrative skills.
- Must be focused on details and very organized.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees and other departments.
- Ability to organize work in logical, structured format allowing flexibility when appropriate.
- Ability to produce results in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in government contracting desirable.
- Experience with an HRIS, ADP, and/or Costpoint a plus
- Knowledge and use of AI platforms
