Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid contract role based in Rockford, IL (with some in-person programming required). The Program Coordinator will support the planning and implementation of youth leadership initiatives, including the Youth Advocacy Board (YAB) and RISE Teen Summit. This role focuses on program coordination, youth engagement, and collaboration with community partners to ensure meaningful and well-executed experiences.
Compensation & Commitment:
- $25 per hour
- Approximately 10 hours per month
- Estimated $250/month | $1,500 total contract (April–September 2026)
Qualifications
- Experience in youth development, education, or community-based programming
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently in a hybrid environment
- Comfortable supporting facilitation and engaging with youth
- Detail-oriented and dependable
Preferred:
- Background in Social Work, Education, Youth Development, Organizational Leadership, or related field
