We are a successful and well-established Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Fabrication Shop located in Dundalk, specializing in the fabrication of high-quality steel products. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Fabricators Shop Fitters to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out and fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel components with precision.
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Perform MIG and stick welding, cutting, and burning of steel materials.
- Work with a variety of steel products, including columns, beams, lintels, sills, clips, and plates.
- Operate and maintain shop equipment such as shears, brake presses, drill presses, saws, and more.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the steel construction process and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in MIG and stick welding, with the ability to pass a welding test.
- Familiarity with basic shop equipment and tools (shear, brake press, drill press, saws, etc.).
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in measurements and layout.
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and inventory management.
- Clean and valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays when required.
Work Hours:
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required based on project demands.
Salary : $50,000 - $100,000
