Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Application Engineer for BW Water Americas. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN, or Tampa, FL with an option to work remotely for part of the time. The Application Engineer will primarily work with the sales team to evaluate detailed specifications, do some process engineering, assemble cost estimates and put together final proposals to send to customers on water and wastewater treatment systems.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in use of software design packages
- Strong foundations Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to design and optimize technical systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Previous experience in water treatment or related industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
