BW Papersystems is seeking a motivated Panel Shop - Electrician to join our manufacturing or field installation team. This role involves assisting with the installation and wiring of electrical components on company-produced equipment. Work is closely supervised, follows standard procedures, and is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in industrial electrical assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
- Assemble electrical systems and support structures using standard tools and equipment (e.g., rivets, bolts, soldering tools).
- Wire and label switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from wiring diagrams.
- Inspect and verify proper wiring terminations, coding, shorts, grounds, and continuity.
- Report defective materials or unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input on quality, cost, or production issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
