QA Molding Inspector

Purpose

PURPOSE

Position responsible for participating in the plant’s quality assurance program. Assures that manufacturing projects and processes meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads and comprehends instructions and follows established procedures
• Selects components according to specifications and required schedule
• Checks output to ensure highest quality
• Maintains equipment in good condition
• Keeps records of production quantities and time – records all information on tracking sheets and in database
• Reports on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
• Other duties as required
  
  

Qualification

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to use tools and machines pertinent to position
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Dependable
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
• Assist with the coordination of the overall quality specifications and standards for processes and finished products.
• Other duties as required
• Inspection of molded blanks
  
  

Minimum Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or educational equivalent
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Extensive use of fingers requiring great manual dexterity.
• Communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
• Regular sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
