BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking Computer System Programmer (Junior) or both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As a Computer System Programmer (Junior), you will create and/or maintain operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, repositories, and utility and assembler programs. This individual shall modify existing software and develop special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.

Basic Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; - OR - three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)
- The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in IT systems analysis and programming.
- The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of computer experience in information systems design.
