BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Architect – SAP BRIM to work in Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and possibly 3 days remote.
As a Architect – SAP BRIM, you will lead the design and implementation of SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions and related SAP S/4HANA components. This role ensures that enterprise architecture aligns with business objectives, security standards, and SAP best practices. The Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategies, oversee integration, and guide development teams in delivering scalable and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Define and document end-to-end architecture for SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and related SAP S/4HANA components.
- Ensure architectural decisions align with SAP best practices and minimize customizations.
- Design integrations with external systems (CRM, payment gateways, mediation platforms) using secure and efficient patterns.
- Technical Leadership & Governance
- Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
- Establish standards for configuration, customization, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security protocols.
- Integration & Data Strategy
- Design data models and integration strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize replication.
- Oversee migration planning and execution for high-volume data loads with minimal downtime.
- Performance & Scalability
- Define strategies for high-performance billing and revenue processes.
- Recommend usage of SAP Fiori and BTP for optimized user experience and event-driven architecture.
- Documentation & Communication
- Prepare architecture diagrams, impact analysis reports, and technical specifications.
- Document best practices and lessons learned for future reference.
- Training & Mentorship
- Mentor technical teams on SAP BRIM architecture principles.
- Support training material development for end-users and support staff.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
- 7 years of SAP architecture experience, including BRIM and S/4HANA.
- 2 full-cycle SAP BRIM implementations in SOM and CI modules.
- Expertise in integration design and secure payment flows.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM architecture and SAP BTP.
- Familiarity with API management, event-driven architecture, and mediation systems.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP BRIM certifications (BR235/240/245/416).
- Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft ADO, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Industry experience in utilities or transportation with usage-based billing models.
