Job Overview:
Busy ophthalmology office looking to hire call center representative to join our team. Applicant must be a service focused individual and be able to manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. Medical office experience a plus and customer service experience required. Duties include scheduling appointments, answering a patient or referring doctors questions and gathering accurate information. Hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Must be dependable and able to handle multiple tasks at once. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide accurate information about service and company policies
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to ensure positive customer interactions
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in English; Spanish fluency in is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is beneficial
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is an asset
