OFFICE MANAGER — BV GLASS

ABOUT THE ROLE
BV Glass and Paint is hiring a full time Office Manager to be the organizational hub of our shop. This position is open due to the retirement of a long-tenured team member - a rare opening, and a great opportunity to step into an established role with a stable, supportive team.
You'll be the first voice customers hear and the first face they see, while also keeping our books, schedule and ensure orders are running smoothly behind the scenes. Experience is preferred, but we are glad to train the right candidate who brings strong attention to detail, a friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Customer Service & Front Office
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers as they arrive
- Handle general daily office duties, including filing, correspondence, mail and supply management
- Prepare and provide vehicle glass estimates for cars, trucks, farm equipment, semis and RVs
- Prepare and provide residential and commercial glass estimates
Insurance & Claims
- Process vehicle insurance claims for windshield repair and replacement
- Coordinate with insurers, adjusters and customers to ensure fast processing
Bookkeeping
- Manage daily bookkeeping, including daily deposits and accounts
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process payroll
Scheduling & Ordering
- Manage the scheduling and project calendar for both on-site and remote jobs
- Order vehicle glass
- Order residential glass
- Manage company inventory
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience processing vehicle insurance claims for windshield repair or replacement (preferred)
- Bookkeeping or office administration experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling phones, scheduling and paperwork simultaneously
- A professional, welcoming approach with customers
- Willingness to learn - we will train the right person
WHAT WE OFFER
- Starting wage is $20 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
