Job Description/Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and a safe working environment. This role oversees team performance, coordinates logistics, and partners across departments to support production and distribution goals. You’ll play a key role in driving operational efficiency, improving processes, and building a strong, engaged team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and lead warehouse team members, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee receiving, storage, and shipment of materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system updates
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Partner with shipping, logistics, and operations teams to optimize workflow and resolve issues
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
Preferred:
- Experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution or manufacturing setting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout a shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions
