Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to help with general repairs and maintenance. Some diagnostic work, brakes, tires .Work hours would be M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm no weekends. No holidays. Looking for a decent, honest person to work with. Pay is per hour, no flat rate. You work you get paid. Bonuses available
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests and identify issues with powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out components, including brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems
- Align wheels and perform tire services such as balancing and mounting
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Would prefer to have 4-5 years experience in the field.
