This hybrid position is based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
We are seeking an IT Specialist to serve as the primary person providing on-site support at our Waltham office. Additionally, you'll play a critical role in supporting our growing community of employees in other locations, helping to keep our teams connected and thriving!
Your impact:
- Providing on-site & remote technical support across the company
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests & documenting resolutions
- Communicating with employees to gather information about IT issues and providing instruction for their resolution
- Provisioning computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Inventory management of IT Equipment - Repairing/replacing and shipping equipment as necessary
- Assisting on-site employees with setting up and conducting meetings that include remote participants
About you:
- 1-2 years' experience working in IT Support
- A strong understanding of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A technical, logical thought process and a keen eye for detail
- Problem-solving skills, able to research solutions for unfamiliar problems
- Time management, an ability to stick to strict deadlines & prioritize solving the most urgent issues first
- Writing skills to create instructional documentation that can be shared with the team and other employees
- Not Required but a Bonus:
- mac OS experience
- experience with Audio/Visual equipment
