Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
- Assist with stocking, picking & packing orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for shipping & receiving.
- Perform materials handling tasks such as load & unload operations, heavy lifting, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products on pallets, using proper packaging techniques, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, monitor inventory levels, and improve overall warehouse management processes.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues or hazards promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with knowledge of inventory management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Valid certification for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers; OSHA safety training preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations.
- Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or similar technology for inventory control.
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are advantageous but not required.
