Warehouse Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Laborer, where your energy and dedication will drive the efficient movement of goods and materials. In this vital role, you will handle inventory management, operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, and support warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
• Assist with stocking, picking & packing orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for shipping & receiving.
• Perform materials handling tasks such as load & unload operations, heavy lifting, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products on pallets, using proper packaging techniques, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, monitor inventory levels, and improve overall warehouse management processes.
• Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues or hazards promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with knowledge of inventory management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
• Valid certification for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers; OSHA safety training preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or similar technology for inventory control.
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are advantageous but not required.
