Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer position located in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Lawyer will be responsible for analyzing legal matters, drafting legal documents, representing clients in negotiations and courtroom proceedings, and conducting legal research. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal standards and advising clients on a variety of legal matters to achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analysis skills to evaluate case merits and formulate legal strategies
- Experience in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Proficiency in litigation, courtroom representation, and negotiation
- Ability to provide clear and ethical legal advice to clients on complex legal issues
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the South Carolina Bar
- Familiarity with local and federal laws and regulations
- Previous experience in private practice or relevant legal fields is a plus
