Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service and listening carefully to their automotive needs
- Identify customer requirements for vehicle maintenance, repairs, or upgrades by asking targeted questions
- Promote and upsell various automotive services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, and more
- Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multiple customer interactions with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and sales transactions with precision
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while ensuring compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or auto service management background is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, or automotive repair is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Familiarity with automotive specialties such as air brakes, alignments, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, tire service, oil changes, auto body repair, and auto sales
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Basic cash handling skills and proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
